General Anaesthesia & Deep Sedation
Whether the clinic documents treatment under general anaesthesia or deep / twilight sedation — "sleep dentistry", where the patient is asleep and unaware (does not feel, see, or hear the procedure). Ordinary conscious sedation, where the patient stays awake and responsive, does not count here. This is informational and does not affect the transparency score.
- ✗ General anaesthesia / deep sedation (sleep dentistry) — No general anaesthesia or deep sedation documented Branded "Sedacion Consciente" service; own page explicitly says patient is not completely asleep, only relaxed, breathes independently. [propdental-barcelona-sedation]

Change History

|---|---|
| 2026-10-01 | Other review platforms re-checked on 2026-10-01: Trustpilot (31 reviews) and Doctoralia (Sants clinic profile); the pages cited before are not review platforms. |
| 2026-09-24 | Re-read on 2026-09-24: the group's website (prices page, cleaning and panoramic X-ray pages, emergency-care page, Barcelona clinics page, clinic pages and homepage). Corrected: the group publishes prices for implants, crowns, fillings, cleaning and panoramic X-rays, and the first visit is free (previously recorded as not published). Recorded: digital X-rays at the free first visit with a personalised treatment plan; same-day emergency care; weekday hours to 19:00 at its Barcelona clinics; Dentist structured data on its clinic pages; no English version of the site. Still unverified: which of the group's Barcelona clinics and Google listings this entry refers to, so the Google rating was not updated. |
| 2026-08-25 | Recorded sedation / general anaesthesia availability (informational): not documented in public sources. Branded "Sedacion Consciente" service; own page explicitly says patient is not completely asleep, only relaxed, breathes independently. |
| 2026-08-25 | Re-verification 2026-08-25: confirmed website (propdental.es) is live; Propdental operates as a multi-branch brand in Barcelona (Sants, Nou Barris, Sant Martí, Badalona, L'Hospitalet, etc.), each with its own separate Google Maps listing (ratings seen ranging 4.7-4.9) rather than one canonical profile — none matched the previously stored 4.9/172 with confidence, so no rating/review/geo update is recorded to avoid attributing the wrong branch's figures; all branches checked showed normal open hours, none marked closed. Sedation research: clinic's own dedicated page confirms conscious sedation only (patient not fully asleep, breathes independently), not general anaesthesia. |
